Paula Scher is one of the most influential graphic designers in the world. She has been a partner at Pentagram since 1991, where she created a landmark identity for The Public Theater that fused high and low into a wholly new symbology for cultural institutions. She continues to develop groundbreaking identity and branding systems for performance venues and museums around the world, including Poster House.
The font treatment and color of this cap were inspired by Scher's first poster for The Public Theater: Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk, 1995, on view in our Poster History Timeline.
