Build Your Own Brooklyn Bridge Postcard

Availability: In stock

A masterpiece of 19th-century engineering, the 1,595-foot span was by far the longest suspension bridge when it was built. The stone and steel cable structure was conceived by John Roebling, but engineered and built by his son Washington Roebling and wife Emily Warren Roebling. After fourteen long years of work the bridge was finally opened to traffic in 1883.

DIY 1:4000 scale miniature paper model, about 5 inches wide and 1 inch tall finished. Designed by Matt Bergstrom. Published by Wurlington Bros. Press. Unfinished postcard measures 6.75 x 4.7 inches and can be mailed with standard letter postage.
