A print of Watt Radio: Torino, 1933, by Giuseppe Vincenti.
This aggressive poster depicts an anthropomorphised radio tube screaming the news, with concentric sound waves emanating from its mouth. The poster design debuted in 1931 and was so successful that it went through multiple reissues. At some point (likely in the 1980s) the signature of the well-known designer Nikolai Diulgheroff was added to unsigned copies of the poster in order to fetch a higher market price, including the original, authentic poster photographed to make this print.
Measures 15.25 x 11 inches. Ships rolled.
