Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Print

Availability: In stock

A print reproduction of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, 2019, designed by Jeroen de Waal, and creative directed by Dawn Baillie.

To promote a movie about Hollywood in the 1960s, Dawn Baillie wanted to use the illustrational style of posters from that era. Dawn’s team produced the final composition by combining unit photography of all the characters in a montage style. Illustrator Steve Chorney then painted on top of this composite design to make it look like a 1960s American film poster.

Throughout his career, movie director Quentin Tarantino has noted that Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is one of his favorite films. Knowing this, Dawn’s team decided to incorporate Hobo, the 1910 typeface used in the title sequence and promotional materials for Butch Cassidy, in the top register of the poster.

Measures 17 x 11 inches. Ships rolled.

Poster House is closed due to COVID-19.
