Get ready for a night out with these socks inspired by Divan Japonais, 1892–93, by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
Divan Japonais was a café-concert frequented by Toulouse-Lautrec. His poster advertising the venue features his friend, performer Jane Avril, in the foreground seated with the dandyish writer Édouard Dujardin. Yvette Guilbert can be seen on the stage, recongizable by her distinctive long black gloves and gaunt form.
