Ringailė Demšytė’s book Vilnius Nightlife Graphics 1992–2024 documents the visual history of nightlife in Vilnius, Lithuania, preserving more than three decades of cultural memory through its flyers, posters, and the people who created them.
Ringailė has researched and collected hundreds of these fragile, often forgotten artifacts of nightlife culture, piecing them together into a unique record of the city’s creative energy as Lithuania forged a new identity in the wake of Soviet collapse, independence, and the country’s move toward the European Union.
From early DIY experiments in the 1990s to the big club nights of the 2000s, queer parties, underground raves, fashion shows, and experimental art scenes, the book captures the full range of Vilnius's nightlife graphics, alongside interviews with key artists. Designed by Ringailė herself, it brings together these images and stories in a beautifully crafted edition.
