In honor of Poster House's second anniversary, the museum commissioned letterpress printer Amos Kennedy to create a unique poster honoring the past, present, and future of the medium. Each layered design is different, combining words, names, and phrases related to poster-making.
Amos Kennedy has over 50 works in the Poster House permanent collection and was the subject of the museum's first entry foyer exhibition. Kennedy is a letterpress printer known for his iconoclastic, typographically driven designs, frequently promoting Black cultural events in the rural South.
Letterpress printed on chipboard with oil-based ink. Measures 19 x 12.5 inches. Ships flat.
