This book traces the past, present and future of alternative graphic design at the hands of a multidisciplinary and international design community and its artistic and community-building practices at A—Z Presents, a Berlin-based space for experimental graphic design. Assuming the form of an "index for alternative graphic design," the book offers a comprehensive view of the wide range of activities performed by a multitude of graphic designers and visual artists from diverse backgrounds, ages and career standings in the past six years. The first part, "A—Z," features all the activities and events initiated by A—Z, with contributions from designers like Na Kim, Niklaus Troxler and the Rodina, and over 100 entries in between. The second part, titled "—Infinity," features 32 international designers, including April Greiman, Richard Niessen and Loraine Furter, to envision the future of graphic design.
