This large volume includes reproductions of almost 200 posters, short biographies of the poster artists, contributions from specialists in the field including Birgit Meyer, and a foreword by preeminent Ghanaian artist Ablade Glover. Special attention is paid to Ghariokwu Lemi, one of the first Ghanaian film poster painters, now famous for his work on Fela Kuti's album covers.
