Aristide Bruant in His Cabaret Patch

Availability: In stock

This embroidered patch was inspired by Aristide Bruant in His Cabaret, 1893, by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec

The cabaret artist Aristide Bruant commissioned Toulouse-Lautrec to design a poster advertising his riotously popular performances that satirized the Parisian aristocracy. Toulouse-Lautrec's poster design focuses on Bruant's particular costume: a large hat, black coat, and flamboyant red scarf. The design was adapted and reprinted multiple times to promote Bruant's shows.

Designed and manufactured by Today Is Art Day. Iron-on backing. Measures 3 x 2.25 inches.
