A print reproduction of The Silence of the Lambs, 1991, designed by Dawn Baillie.
The most famous poster designed to promote The Silence of the Lambs features Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling. The photograph of the death’s-head hawkmoth was taken from a specimen Dawn Baillie had rented from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. Foster's stark white tone was used to imply innocence in contrast to posters featuring Anthony Hopkin's Dr. Hannibal Lector in red, used to imply evil.
Measures 17 x 11 inches. Ships rolled.
