Alphonse Mucha Portfolio

Availability: In stock

Alphonse Mucha was born in Moravia (present day Czechia) in 1860. He went to Paris in 1887 to work as an artist and illustrator, with modest success. All that changed in 1894 when he met the world famous actress Sarah Bernhardt. His poster designs for her established him as the defining voice of the Art Nouveau period. He went on to become internationally famous with his lush images featuring beautiful, modern women.

Explore Mucha's oeuvre with these 8 high-quality print reproductions enclosed in a hardback portfolio with inner end papers along with flaps for further protection and a cotton ribbon closure.
