This magnet features Wanted! For Murder by Victor Keppler, 1944. Unlike other American posters of the era, this one suggests a deliberate intent to kill. It also reinforces the idea that women are more prone to gossip than men and that such activities might lead directly to the deaths of soldiers abroad. It also inspired the American public to write a letter to the Office of War Information to address the inherent misogyny of the message.
