Will Bradley (1868–1962) helped define the early American poster style. His design for The Modern Poster (1895), the first American book dedicated to the turn-of-the-century poster craze, exemplifies his artistic pedigree: waves of feathers evoke Japanese woodblock printing while the stylized head of the peacock shows the influence of the Arts & Crafts movement and French Art Nouveau.
This beautiful journal features an embossed and foil-stamped cover, a pocket inside the back cover, and two ribbon markers.
