Our official exhibition poster for Made in Japan: 20th-Century Poster Art on view at Poster House from March 2–September 10, 2023.
The poster features Nihon Buyo, designed by Tanaka Ikkō in 1981 to promote a performance of traditional Japanese dance, music, and theater at UCLA's Asian Performing Arts Institute. It depicts a dancer comprised of simple geometric forms and colors.
