This onesie, designed exclusively for The Wolfsonian in conjunction with the exhibition Julius Klinger: Posters for a Modern Age, features Klinger’s 1922-1924 poster for WIPAG (Weiner Plakatierungs- und Anzeigegesellschaft m.b.H.). At the time, WIPAG controlled the public display of posters in purpose-designed space across the city of Vienna including poster columns, hoardings, and public transport. Klinger worked for WIPAG as an advisor and used this opportunity to promote himself, as well as the services of the organization. The significance of the duck and her eggs remains unknown.
